Ingleside Rural Fire Brigade is a volunteer Emergency Fire Service in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia providing Fire Protection for our Community since 1952...
Ingleside Rural Fire Brigade members volunteer their time as part of the New South Wales Rural Fire Service to assist in protection of the communities the Northen Beaches Local Government Area.
We assist with Bushfire Suppression and Prevention, Vehicle accidents and fires, Structural Fires and other operational incidents and provide Bushfire Education and Awareness to our community.
We respond to a variety of situations and generally respond to about 80-100 operational incidents each year; including Bush/Grass Fires, Structure Fires, Vehicles Accidents, Vehicle Fires, Horse Rescues, Storm Damage, Automatic Fire Alarm Calls mostly within the Ingleside area. We also assist other brigades throughout the state with incidents from flooding to major bush fires.

As a volunteer you initially complete a comprehensive nationally recognised Bush Fire Fighters course which allows you to become a member of our Brigade and attend operational incidents. As with all Rural Fire Brigades, Ingleside members are regularly called out by pager to assist with incidents 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
Currently at Ingleside, all fire-fighting members are required to complete one duty day per month (8hrs) and commit to every second training and meeting nights, which occur once per month. Click here to find out more about joining Ingleside Brigade Join us

RFS State Championship Attendance
Ingleside volunteers have been invited to participate after winning our Warringah Pittwater district championship and top 3 positions in regional exercises in the RFS State Championship. These involve testing our crew of 6 in a range of scenarios including; Structure Fires, Plane crashes, Navigation, Fuel Tanker fires/leaks, Aiport Fuel Fires, Bushfires, Fire Overrun of RFS Vehicles, First Aid on seriously injured persons and some novelty events. In September, 2014, Ingleside came 3rd overall in the NSW Rural Fire Service - State Fire-fighting Championships held at Pambula, NSW. Our previous results in the Championships we have attended are as follows:
